BIO
About Me
My name is Amna Sassy and I am a Towson University student. I will be graduating in Spring 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Services. I have always been a hard worker and have drive for helping children and supporting families. In the future I hope to further my education and  be able to help vulnerable families.

MY EXPERIENCE
Background & Expertise
February 2019-May 2019
SERVICE LEARNING
I worked closely with a group of course peers and field supervisor to create a project where the group researched bilingual children's books and books on cultures from the library. My group then brought the experience from the site to the classroom to process, present the project to fellow classmates and reflect as a learning community.
September 2019-December 2019
INTERNSHIP
BIG BROTHERS, BIG SISTERS Y MARYLAND
As an intern I was given tasks of typing up assessments from interviews with volunteer Bigs and the Littles. I participated in site-based volunteer programs by doing ice-breakers with the littles and gaining feedback from both the bigs and littles. I was given the opportunity to conduct a child-interview with a child participating in a site-based program. I also helped with the event planning for the 2020 calendar and assisted with putting together the end of year theme party.
INTERNSHIP PRODUCTIVITY GRAPH
Productivity Graph
During my internship, I have been able to work directly with clients in and out of the office as well as directly in the office. I have worked directly with clients by completing child interviews and making reference calls. The indirect tasks I completed were administrative tasks, typing data analysis, filing client charts, data entry of client into Match Support and training learning opportunities. I also had the opportunity to attend two team meetings and give my input in both. Attached is link to my graphs that show the different tasks I completed.
